AMS to present a session on “Contingency Planning” at the Payroll Workshops (28th July in Wellington, 04th August in Palmerston North)
21 Jul 2016

Each year, the Wellington Employers Chamber of Commerce (WECC) and Business Central organise Payroll Workshops to share experience and knowledge in the constantly evolving landscape of payroll. These workshops are the opportunities to learn from industry experts and practitioners.

Donna Delaney who recently joined AMS as Services Manager is one of the industry experts. For both workshops, she will be leading the managing risk discussion with the “Contingency Planning” topic.

Donna has specifically chosen this important topic with her background of managing payroll risks in large, complex SOE and DHB environments. Her interest in contingency planning was put to the test during the Christchurch earthquakes where she had the real-life experience of delivering stable, accurate payroll for over 10,000 employees through this very difficult time.

By attending this session, she hopes that attendees will go away understanding that good contingency planning relies on great documentation and continuous quality improvement processes. Whether the organisation is large or small, there are tools and processes to ensure you are well prepared to manage your risks as well as quality outcomes.

The workshops are being held in:

- Wellington, Thursday 28th July 2016 - CQ Hotel, 223 Cuba Street

- Palmerston North, Thursday 04th August 2016 - Copthorne Hotel, 110 Fitzherbert Avenue

Registrations are still opened on the Business Central website: http://businesscentral.org.nz/
