AIA is New Zealand’s largest life insurance company and is a member of the AIA Group, the largest life insurance company in the world by market capitalisation. AIA provide a broad range of insurance and investment products to more than 800,000 customers in NZ.

AIA recently acquired Sovereign Insurance. AMS has a strong history with Sovereign, providing Sovereign’s first Life Insurance solution. AIA will integrate the Sovereign solution into its own architecture and use the product across its entire Life Insurance business in New Zealand.

Prior to the acquisition, AMS provided migration expertise to help Sovereign realise its vision of reducing the number legacy systems; consolidating its Life Insurance business onto the AMS platform. In doing this Sovereign were able to realise significant benefits in simplification and cost reduction.
