AMS COVID-19 Update: 23 April 2020

23 Apr, 2020

As we prepare for Level 3, we want to firstly acknowledge the staff working in Essential Services within our customer base in the Insurance industry, DHB’s and the wider Health Sector, and in Government Departments. For many of them Level 4 has meant juggling an increased workload alongside their personal responsibilities in trying conditions, so thank you for your commitment.

Level 4 has been a challenging journey in many ways, but we can all be proud of the contribution every New Zealander has made to lessening the impact of COVID-19 on our health system and helping to control the spread of the disease for the long term.

We are also proud to say that the AMS Team have made the change to working from home in a seamless fashion. We had tested our Business Continuity Plan before lockdown, but can now say the plan has proven to be as robust as intended!

As a result, we will continue to work from home while Alert Level 3 is in place.

Like all businesses we will review our position based on the Government’s decision on May 11, and provide another update to you.

Until then, apart from our staff being located remotely, it is business-as-usual for all of the AMS teams.  You can contact your Account Manager, or any of us, in the usual ways.

Many customers have provided positive feedback on our service and support through this time. We’d like to also say thank you for all your support and ongoing partnership over the past month.  All of the team at AMS look forward to working together with you through Level 3, and into the future.

Congratulations everyone on a great effort to flatten the curve! Let’s keep up the great work.

Best wishes from the AMS Team
