AMS COVID-19 Update: 7 April 2020

7 Apr, 2020

In these uncertain times we believe that communications are more important than ever, so here is the latest COVID-19 update from the AMS team.

Today is Day 13 of lockdown, and Day 9 of working from home for all AMS staff. This has been a big adjustment for everyone. While working from home was common, 9 days in a row was not the norm for us!

Many of us have found that it doesn’t work to lock ourselves away for the whole day, so we’ve had to upgrade our work from home skills - to pace ourselves differently while remaining productive, to maintain balance with limited exercise options, and to stay patient and connected within our bubbles.

Meanwhile, we had positive news from Director General of Health Ashley Bloomfield yesterday, with what he described as a “levelling off” in the number of new cases. We hope that trend continues today.

Regardless of the outcome of the next few days, our BAU approach to working has been highly successful. In the past fortnight our Team have taken two new Public Sector customers through their project go-live, and successful subsequent pay runs without missing a beat. Later this week, our April DHB user group is also scheduled.

We continue to support your business to the best of our abilities, regardless of where the AMS team is based, and we thank you for your support and understanding through this uncertain time. If there’s anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Kia Kaha New Zealand! Together we’ll get through this.

Best wishes from the AMS Team
