AMS Workforce Release: Leave Processing, Org Chart re-engineering, Single Sign-On and greater FTE flexibility

9 Sep, 2020

As part of our ongoing investment in Workforce Management (and in line with our commitment to innovation) we have kept our team busy over lockdown.  We are even more committed to deliver new benefits in order to meet increasing workforce management challenges.

This release we focus on LEADER and Self-Service with improvements in: Organisation Chart functionality, Parental Leave and Leave-In-Weeks processing, more flexibility for those working full-time-plus, and enhanced Single Sign On with Azure.

Leave processing

Due to caution in taking leave through Covid-19 lockdown, we see the health sector face growing leave accruals.  As a result, we’ve made further enhancements to the management of Leave-In-Weeks.  This significantly reduces the effort required by finance teams to process this and provides greater accuracy in both reporting and accounting for leave accrued and taken, across all departments.

We have also made improvements to Parental Leave processing, automating the accrual of Annual Leave earned on Parental Leave.  This will reduce the load on the payroll team in managing this and increase visibility for the employees and managers involved as well.

Organisation Chart

This release includes a re-engineering of the Organisation Chart functionality.  We have shifted the technology for this function to ensure browser compatibility across platforms, increasing accessibility of the chart across the organisation.

Full-Time Plus

One of the impacts of Covid-19 is we increasingly see employees who are employed at greater than the full time equivalent.  We have made this much easier to track and manage, ensuring any applicable adjustments to pay rates and leave allowances are applied.

Single Sign-On

Enhanced integration with Microsoft Azure for single sign-on, reduces the support load for your organisation. It makes life easier for everyone, but still maintains the robust security protocols you expect around personal information.

A notification of the release, including full details has been provided to customers who can contact their account manager or email support for further information.   If you’re not a customer as yet and would like to know more, please get in touch as we are always happy to share what we do.
