Electoral Commission select AMS Payroll

2 Apr, 2019

As the engine for our Democratic system, the Electoral Commission plays a vital role in New Zealand.

Not only do they have the significant three-yearly responsibility for organising a fair election and ensuring confidence in the electoral system and outcome, they also manage registrations for political parties, electoral boundaries, electoral rolls and manage local elections, by-elections and referendums.

To achieve all this and to meet the delivery challenges of election cycles, their need to manage a flexible workforce has grown considerably.

As a result, the Electoral Commission went to market recently for a modern outsourced HRIS and Payroll provider who provide efficient, best practice processes and full support for leave and other legislative compliance.

The Electoral Commission has values close to AMS heart; they recognise that payroll affects every aspect of the organsiation, from the reputation of the Commission down to the morale of its employees.

AMS is delighted to have been selected as the Electoral Commission’s payroll provider. AMS were selected as the provider because their solution supports all the Electoral Commission’s requirements through the AMS Outsource Service.
