3 Feb, 2020

Jessie began her career with AMS as a key member of the Professional Services team two years ago and took up her new appointment as AMSO - the AMS Outsource Service - Manager on January 20, when she returned to AMS after 10 months parental leave caring for her daughter.

A significant part of Jessie’s previous experience was in team leadership and while at Datacom she was responsible for running an Outsource team of 10 staff.

The AMS outsource team gives you with confidence in your payroll environment, the flexibility to support your unique requirements, and ensures your payroll is accurate and compliant.

“This appointment provides a great alignment of Jessie’s experience and aspirations and we are extremely fortunate to have such a capable candidate who is known, liked and respected by everyone at AMS to take up the challenge of taking AMSO to the next level,” says Ben Barlow, General Manager Customer at AMS.

Some of the key areas of focus in Jessie’s new role will be engaging with the Outsource Team and wider business to improve the service AMSO provide current clients, onboarding new clients, product upgrades and fast-tracking greater automation in the service.

“I’m originally from the US, so I’ve been amazed by the parental benefits NZ gives to new parents. More so, my experience of being on maternity leave while with AMS has been so positive and I always felt like part of the team. My boss checked in with me regularly, invited me to team events, and I was given this promotion upon my return. I feel lucky to work for a company that has so much respect for their employees, and regularly recognizes the great work they do.”
